Recently, the Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of enterprises to be cultivated as “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” for 2026. Dongguan UEALINK Electronics was successfully selected thanks to its continuous technological innovation in the niche segments of new-energy high-voltage wire harnesses and specialized industrial cables, and simultaneously received approval for special funding to support R&D in new-energy cables, helping the company upgrade and iterate its high-voltage connection products. According to the evaluation materials, UEALINK Electronics has been deeply engaged in the custom wire harness industry for over ten years, holding more than a thousand domestic and international product certifications, including UL, VDE, IATF16949, ISO13485, and AS9100. The company has independently developed multiple core technologies, such as 800V fast-charging connectors, liquid-cooled charging cables, and complete BDU wire harnesses for energy storage. It has also established its own independent materials laboratory and a fully automated wire harness production line spanning 55,000㎡, providing stable services to global leading enterprises such as TE, Mindray Medical, BYD, Weiteng Electric, and United Aircraft. UEALINK is a key manufacturing enterprise being nurtured in the new-energy and medical wire harness sub-sectors in Dongguan. In an interview, the company’s general manager, Bill You, stated that being recognized as a “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” cultivated enterprise represents the government’s acknowledgment of the company’s technical strength in its niche segment. All of this round of special R&D subsidies will be invested in the research and iterative development of lightweight aviation cables and high-power, high-voltage wire harnesses for energy storage, further enhancing the company’s comprehensive portfolio of specialized cable products and contributing to Dongguan’s efforts to build a national industrial cluster for new-energy electrical components, while fostering collaborative development among local upstream and downstream electronic component suppliers.
